Room Minimum

 

Minimum Purchase Requirement: There is no charge to rent the Azteca Room. However, there is a minimum purchase requirement, which depends on the day and time of the event.

-For example, an Azteca Room Reservation

MONDAY-THURSDAY  made between 7am-5pm would require a minimum purchase of $250;

MONDAY-THURSDAY  made between 5pm-9pm would require a minimum purchase of $300;

FRIDAY made between 7am-5pm would require a minimum purchase of $300;

FRIDAY made between 5pm-10pm would require a minimum purchase of $1000;

SATURDAY between 7am-3pm would require a minimum purchase of $500;

SATURDAY between 3pm-9pm would require a minimum purchase of $500;

SUNDAY made between 7am-4pm would require a minimum purchase of $1000;

SUNDAY made between 4pm-pm would require a minimum purchase of $300;

 The subtotal of all food and beverage purchases made during the two hour time slot on the day of the event will apply towards the minimum, which is before taxes and a mutually agreed upon 18% gratuity. Gift card purchases do not apply, and Cantina Azteca Private Room reservations are only eligible for happy hour pricing on drinks between 3:00pm-6:00pm Monday-Friday. In the event that food and beverage purchases do not meet the minimum purchase requirement, a “room rental fee” will be added to the final bill in the form of the difference, which, again, is before taxes and a mutually agreed upon 18% gratuity. 

Family Style Menu: All Azteca Room reservations include a limited family style menu of your choosing, which will be provided by the Banquet Manager and is available to view at reyaztecabreakfast.com. A limited selection of items, however, may be added to the menu upon request and at the discretion of the Banquet Manager at an additional cost. All prices and menus items are subject to change. Payment: All items will be placed on one check. We do, however, accept multiple forms of payment within reason, for example, payment by way of three credit cards or by way of cash and a credit card. Also included in the bill will be the tax and a mutually agreed upon 18% gratuity, which is due on the day of the event.

Room Hold: A credit card is required to secure a reservation of the Azteca Room. It will only be charged in the case of an untimely cancellation. Cancellation: A $100.00 cancellation fee will be charged to the credit card used to secure the Azteca Room for any cancellation made less than seven days prior to the event. During the month of December, cancellations made to Friday and Saturday Azteca Room reservation less than 14 days prior to the event will be subject to a $200 cancellation fee.

Corkage Fee: Cantina Azteca offers a fine selection of wine. Wine and champagne from outside the restaurant will be served with a corkage fee of $15.00 per bottle with a limit of 2 bottles per party. The magnum corkage fee is $20.00. Weddings and Civil Ceremonies: Cantina Azteca is a premier destination for wedding rehearsal and reception dinners. Civil Ceremonies and Weddings, however, are not permitted on site. 

Decorations: Cantina Azteca allows you to bring your own decorations, for example, table centerpieces, flower arrangements, or balloons, that can be set-up 15 minutes prior to your reservation. However, it is at the discretion of the Banquet Manager or manager on duty to approve of such decorations.

Is there a minimum purchase requirement?


Yes. Your minimum purchase requirement depends on the day and time of your event. For example, an Azteca Room reservation between 7 AM-5 PM on Monday would require a minimum purchase of $300, a reservation between 6-8 PM on a Saturday evening would require a minimum purchase of $800, and an Azteca Room reservation on Thursday between 6-8 would require a minimum purchase of $400. It all depends on the day and time of your event. The subtotal of all food and beverage purchases will apply towards the minimum, which is before taxes and an 18% service charge.




What are the menu options?


Included in your Azteca Room reservation is a limited family style menu of your choosing. Our menus leave little to be desired feauring beans, rice, chips, salsas, and churros(subject to change). In addition there are some appetizers trays and add ons . All include our famous cilantro lime rice and black beans. The beauty is that the choice is yours. What is Banquet Style?


Our Banquet Style menu are designed with large parties in mind and showcase the best Cantina Azteca has to offer. Your guests will then load up their plates just like they would if they were eating at your own home. It is a full-service dining experience. Don’t worry, your server will make sure everyone leaves full.




What about drinks?


Azteca room hospitality is full-service, and your server will attend to your guest’s needs, making sure they get exactly what they want from our full bar while eating. Included in every Azteca Room reservation is the opportunity to host an Azteca Room Satellite Bar. Working with our Banquet Manager, you will pre-select alcoholic beverages – pitchers of Margarita de la Casa or Blackberry Margarita, for example – and when your guests arrive, they can stop by your private bar located conveniently by the Azteca Room, and your server will offer them a drink of their choosing. This will allow your guests to mingle and chat as they arrive in a cocktail style setting. Guests love the experience. It has lead to many great memories.




What if I don't hit my minimum?


In the event that your food and beverage purchases do not meet the minimum purchase requirement, a “room rental fee” will be added to the final bill in the form of the difference. But don’t worry, our banquet manager won’t let that happen. Whether it be through pre-ordering pitchers of margaritas, or adding additional appetizers or desserts to your menu, we will make sure you hit your minimum purchase requirement while staying within your desired budget long before your event date.




Is there a minimum capacity to rent the Azteca Room


No. All you and your guests have to do is hit your minimum purchase requirement.




What is the room's maximum capacity


The Azteca Room seats 40 people comfortably.




What if I am interested in bringing a large group of people to Cantina Azteca – twenty people, for example – but I am not interested in booking the Azteca Room? Can I still make a reservation?


Yes, you can make reservations of up to 20 people by calling ahead, and providing: Name, phone number, date and time. Your party might be placed in the room along with other guests as well, depending on availability. Groups of 20 people or more will be given limited menus. Gratuity of 18% is added to groups of 12 people or more. Only one check will be given, but many forms of payment accepted, ex: "$20 cash the rest on the card".
